Introduction
SenseGlow processes personal data from visitors and customers. In this statement you will read what data we process, why, how long, and what rights you have. We adhere to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What personal data do we process?
We process the following data only when you actively share them or when they are necessary for the performance of our service:
- When ordering: first and last name, email address, delivery address, billing address, telephone number (for delivery only), payment details (handled by payment provider).
- In case of contact: name, email address, content of your message.
- For website use: IP address, browser type, visited pages, click behaviour, reference website (analytic).
- For marketing (after opt-in only): email address for newsletter.
3. Why are we processing this data?

4. How long do we keep your data?
- Order details (incl. invoice): 7 years (tax retention)
- Customer service correspondence: 2 years after last contact
- Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe
- Website analytics: up to 26 months

5. Who do we share your data with?
To deliver our service we work with the following processors/parties:
- Shopify (Canada/USA), our webshop platform and payment processing. Guarantee: EU-Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
- DHL (Netherlands/EU), delivery of packages. Receives NAW + phone number.
- 17TRACK (China), package tracking. Receives only track code, no personal data.
- Payment provider (Mollie, Stripe, or similar, EU), processed payments.
- Email Provider, receives email address + name for transactional and marketing emails.
- Google (VS), advertentiemeting en website-analyse. Alleen na cookie-toestemming. Waarborg: EU-Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC's).
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram), only after cookie consent.
- TikTok, only after cookie consent.
We do not sell personal data to third parties.
6. Transmission outside the EU
Some of our processors (Shopify, 17TRACK, Meta, TikTok) are located outside the European Economic Area (EEA). We have taken appropriate safeguards through EU-Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and/or existing adequacy decisions.
7. Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar storage in your browser. On your first visit we ask for explicit consent for non-functional cookies. We keep your choice for 12 months, then ask again. You can change your choice at any time via the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

If you choose "Necessary only", statistics and marketing cookies stay off and the checkout does not measure ad results either.
Did you arrive through a Google ad and accept marketing cookies? Then, when you order, we pass the ad click ID, the order amount and the order number to Google. This shows Google which ad led to an order. We do not send your name, email address or address. If you choose "Necessary only", we pass nothing about your order to Google.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
- Right of access, request what data we have on you.
- Right to correction, modify incorrect data.
- Right to erasure, have your data erased.
- Right to restriction, temporarily stop the processing.
- Right to data portability, receive your data in a common format.
- Right to object, object to processing.
- Right to withdraw consent, e.g. unsubscribe from the newsletter.

9. Complaint
Do you have a complaint about how we handle your data? Please try to resolve it with us first via support@senseglow.shop. If that doesn't work, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

This privacy statement may be changed. The latest version is always on senseglow.shop/privacy with the date of last change at the top.
